The course builds in two stages. AS Level covers the foundations (syllabus topics 1–22) and is examined by Papers 1–3. A Level carries those forward and adds the A2 topics, examined by Papers 4 and 5.

A Level (A2)Topics 23–37 · Papers 4–5
Every paper is externally assessed by written examination. The donut shows each paper's share of the full A Level; the bar shows its share of AS Level where it counts toward AS. Assessment objectives: AO1 knowledge 40% · AO2 application 40% · AO3 experimental 20%.
